Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable increase in the number of configurable compressor packages while enabling the useful life of the compressor to be improved.SOLUTION: A compressor 100 comprises a plurality of synthetic jet assemblies 102. Each of the synthetic jet assemblies 108, 110, and 112 is in fluid communication with at least one other synthetic jet assembly of the plurality of synthetic jet assemblies. Each synthetic jet assembly of the plurality of synthetic jet assemblies includes: a first side plate; and a second side plate. The first side plate includes a first bimorph type piezoelectric structure. The second side plate includes a second bimorph type piezoelectric structure. The first side plate and the second side plate define a first fluid cavity extending between the first side plate and the second side plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
