A housing 12 of the compressor 10 is provided with a compressing mechanism for sucking and compressing fluid, and an oil separating chamber 54 for separating lubrication oil mixed in the fluid discharged from the compressing mechanism from the fluid. The fluid compressed by the compressing mechanism is introduced into the oil separating chamber 54, making the lubricating oil mixed in the fluid come into contact with an inside wall 60 of the oil separating chamber 54. By providing protrusions and recesses on the inside wall 60, for example, the lubrication oil contacting surface area of the inside wall is increased, thus, the amount of lubrication oil mixed in the fluid introduced to the oil separating chamber 54 caught on the surface of the inside wall 60 increased.
