Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress inclusion of foreign matters in an impeller by efficiently separating the foreign matters in fluid and thus prevent damage of the impeller.SOLUTION: A compressor system includes: a motor 3; a first impeller 22 of a compressor 2 rotated about the axis O by using the motor 3 to pressure-feed fluid made to flow in from the axial direction to the radial outer side; a centrifugal separator 5 that is provided upstream of the first impeller 22 and rotated about the axis O by using the motor 3 to send out fluid supplied from outside toward the first impeller 22 while turning the fluid; and a casing 6 that defines an inflow passage 61 for guiding the fluid from outside to the centrifugal separator 5, a first accommodation space 62 disposed downstream of the inflow passage 61 to accommodate the centrifugal separator 5, a second accommodation space 63 connected to the downstream side of the first accommodation space 62 to accommodate the first impeller 22 and a foreign matter discharge flow passage 64 extended from the first accommodation space 62 to the radial outer side to discharge foreign matters guided to the outer peripheral side by the centrifugal separator 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
