PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer hologram display device which enables hidden- surface erasing processing in a short time with a little calculation amount and can be appropriately applied even in the case of viewpoint followup system. SOLUTION: The coordinate value and luminance value of object previously stored in a data storage part 21 are perspectively transformed by a perspective transformation part 23 through processing such as viewpoint folloup due to an affine transformation part 22. Hidden-surface erasing processing is executed by an internal coordinate value generating part 24, selector part 26, luminance value memory 27, distance memory 28 and distance comparator part 29. After hidden-surface erasing processing, the coordinate value and luminance value are inversely perspectively transformed by an inverse perspective transformation part 30, and hologram data are calculated by performing wave surface calculation through a hologram coordinate transformation part 31 and a hologram calculation part 32. Based on the hologram data, hologram is formed at a spatial light modulating element 13 and when the spatial light modulating element 13 is irradiated with interference enable light emitted from a light source 11, an object image is reproduced.
