Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a system managing which object to log in order to minimize influence to an executing time though quickening the recovery of a data base object after a computer system is abnormally terminated.
CONSTITUTION: In order to surely maintain data maintenance within a database after the abnormal terminating of the system, a database system needs the recovery processing of a normal object. An object recovery mechanism is provided with a means for maintaining information expressing a time quantity necessary for restoring the object and a means for logging change with respect to the object based on information.
