Abstract:

To provide a concrete block base for supporting a precision mechanical device for an accelerator facility, a semiconductor factory or the like.

This concrete block base is so structured that a pipe arrangement for circulating a cooling medium is embedded in the concrete block base; and an apparent thermal expansion coefficient of the concrete block base is lowered below a predetermined value by circulating the cooling medium into the pipe arrangement.
