PURPOSE: To expand the application range of a tire as a construction material by filling the inside of the tire with concrete.
CONSTITUTION: The internal surface of a tire is cleaned with a detergent and a high pressure water flow, and a concrete bonding agent is applied approximately to the lower half of the internal surface of the tire 1. Then, the tire 1 is erected and placed on a rack. Thereafter, ready-mixed concrete 5 is placed in the tire 1 via the opening 1a thereof, and the tire 1 is filled with the ready- mixed concrete 5 up to a position 8 slightly lower than the center, while being subjected to a vibration. Then, the opening 1a is closed with a gauze 6 and the concrete 5 is further placed through the gap of the gauze 6 to fill the inside of the tire 1 approximately up to the center position thereof and, then, the concrete 5 is solidified. Furthermore, the tire 1 is turned upside down, and the whole inside thereof is filled with the concrete 5, thereby forming a concrete- filled tire 7. In addition, the weak layer of a weak subsoil under a conventional structure is excavated and the tire 7 is used, instead of soil having improved quality.
