Abstract:
To provide a concrete mixer constituted of a tractor, a trailer, and a drum, capable of increasing an operation rate due to easy drum cleaning and maintenance and using the trailer also for transporting articles other than concrete.SOLUTION: In a concrete mixer of this invention, a drum (1) for transporting concrete mounted on a trailer (20) that is towed by a tractor is configured as follows: the drum (1) is mounted on a base member (11) that is independent of the trailer (20); a predetermined female metal fitting (13) is provided on the base member (11); the drum (1) can be mounted on the trailer (20) by locking the female metal fitting (13) with a fastening device (23) made of a twist lock provided on the trailer (20); and the drum (1) can be detached from the trailer (20) when the female metal fitting is unlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
