Abstract:

To provide a conductive agent applicator capable of applying and depositing a conductive agent to and on a sheet type current collector without requiring a troublesome operation while eliminating the useless consumption of the conductive agent.

This conductive agent applicator for a sheet type current collector is equipped with a pair of rotatably journalled porous rollers 1 and 2, a roller rotation mechanism 3 for rotating the porous rollers 1 and 2, a carrying mechanism 4 using the opposed external surfaces of the porous rollers 1 and 2 as a travel route and running a sheet type conductor 5 along the external surfaces, a conductive agent feed mechanisms 6 laid in a zone off the travel zone of the sheet type conductor 5 and used for feeding a conductive agent including conductive material to the external surface of the porous roller 1 for the carriage thereof, and a hot air blowing mechanism 7 for drying the conductive agent applied during travel across the opposed external surfaces of the porous rollers 1 and 2.
