Abstract:
To provide a conductive polymer dispersion that has excellent dispersion stability even when the same coexists with a water-soluble organic solvent and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a conductive polymer dispersion involving a polymerization step for subjecting a thiophene compound in a water solvent to polymerization in the presence of a polyanion, the conductive polymer dispersion to be produced including a conductive complex containing a polythiophene conductive polymer and a polyanion, and water. In the production method, the polymerization step uses a hydrogen persulfate compound as an oxidizer. There is also provided a conductive polymer dispersion including a conductive complex containing a polythiophene conductive polymer and a polyanion, and water, wherein, if a content of the conductive complex is 1 mass% relative to total mass of the conductive polymer dispersion, viscosity at 23°C is 20 mPa s or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
