To provide a conductive rubber member which gives a tire capable of maintaining an antistatic performance for a long time without deteriorating such characteristics as low fuel consumption, wet performance, wear resistance and durability, and a pneumatic tire made by using it.
The conductive rubber member is made by using a rubber composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component containing a conjugated diene copolymer rubber having (a) ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units, (b) aromatic vinyl monomer units, and (c) conjugated diene monomer units, with the content of the units (a) being 5-45 wt.% based on the total of the units (a), (b) and (c), and (B) 30-120 pts.wt. of a carbon black and/or a white filler. The pneumatic tire is made by using the conductive rubber member for a part of the tire tread.
