Abstract:
To provide a cone ring transmission capable of transmitting high angular moment with optimal efficiency while minimizing abrasion.
In this cone ring transmission 1 comprising two cone friction wheels 2, 3 opposite to each other, and a friction ring 8 engaging with both of the cone friction wheels 2, 3, and surrounding one 2 of them, a contact surface 16, 19 of at least one of the cone friction wheels 2, 3 and/or at least one of contact surfaces 12, 13 of the friction ring 8 comprise cross grooves 24, and the cross grooves 24 extend in a state of intersecting with the rotating direction 22 of the cone friction wheels 2, 3 or the friction ring 8 at a specified angle.
