PURPOSE: To make setting and clamping operations simplifiable, by installing a socket to be fitted in an upper end of a spindle of a controller and also another socket to be fitted in a packing presser nut of the controller.

CONSTITUTION: A spindle socket 41 is attached to a turning shaft 39 of a nut runner 5, while a controller 11 is placed on a box body mounting surface of a holder 3 in verticality, clamping a box body 17 with a mouthpiece of a vice 2, and the controller 11 is pinched and clamped. When the spindle socket 41 and a spindle 15 are fitted together, the turning shaft 39 of the nut runner 5 gives rotation of the setting condetion and stop motion to the spindle 15 with the sitting torque via the spindle socket 41, clamping the spindle 15, thus setting takes place. On the other hand, clamping of a packing presser nut 16 is carried out after a packing presser nut socket 6 is attached to the turning shaft of the nut runner 5.
