PURPOSE: To produce a conical roller bearing easily and inexpensively so as to attempt prevention of foreign matters from mixing therewith by fixing, to the ends having smaller and larger diameters of an inner ring, seals which make sliding contact with the rolling surface and lateral end surfaces of an outer ring and have lips capable of opening only in one direction, and feeding oil in the direction to which the lips open.

CONSTITUTION: To the end having a smaller diameter of an inner ring 11 is fixed a seal 15 composed of a seal body 18 having a core bar and of a lip 24 which makes sliding comtact with the raceway surface of an outer ring 12 and is allowed to open only in one direction. To the end having a larger diameter of the inner ring 11 is fixed, through an annular member 28, a seal 16 composed of a seal body 19 and of a lip 25 which is brought in sliding contact with a sliding contact surface 29 on the side of a larger diameter of an outer ring 12. When lubricating oil is fed from the seal 15 side to the space comprising the raceway surfaces 20 and 21 and a rolling member 13, the oil flows through the space and the lip 25 but it cannot flow into the space from the seal 16 side. Therefore, the device is produced easily and inexpensively and capable of preventing foreign matters from mixing with the lubrication oil.
