Title:
CONNECTING MECHANISM FOR TUNNEL SEGMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3877390
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible to display a prescribed tying force by tilting the butting portion between the first segment body and the second segment body in the longitudinal direction of a tunnel, and expanding a clearance between the first pinched portion and the butting portion and one between the second pinched portion and the butting portion toward the forward portion of the insertion direction.
SOLUTION: The butting portion 1 of the second segment body S1 is inclined toward the longitudinal direction X of a tunnel, and a clearance between the first pinched portion m1 and the butting portion 1 and one between the second pinched portion m2 and the butting portion 1 are made wider toward the forward portion of the insertion direction of a connecting device R. When the second segment body S1 is pushed toward an existing segment S3, the connecting device R moves toward the existing segment S3. The amount of protrusion of the connecting device R from the butting portion 1 increases, and by pushing the second segment body S2 to the segment S3, both segments bodies S1, S2 can be tied by a nearly fixed tying force. Therefore, reliable connections can be obtained.
