This connecting rail apparatus is constituted by providing a pair of loading rails 112 on which the railroad vehicle 210 runs in the freight vehicles 110 and is provided with a pair of connecting members 20 having turning end parts positioned in either of two freight vehicles, having terminal parts in the other of them, and having a rail-like structure part 21 and a pair of turning supporting parts 40 supporting the terminal parts to raise each connecting member, put it down on its side, and turn it in end parts of the freight vehicles. The turning end part of the connecting member is formed into a shape having a tip cut obliquely to make an inner side face longer than an outer side face, and the loading rail is formed into a shape having a tip cut obliquely to make an inner side face shorter than an outer side face.
