To provide connecting staples, which can highly precisely be carried within a stapler, and a stale cartridge for housing the connecting staples.

The connecting staples 1a are constituted by connecting a plurality of staples 2a each having a slender and straight shape. The neighborhood of the longitudinal end of each staple 2a is formed into a trapezoidal shape under the condition that its width becomes narrower as advancing towards its tip. Further, the rear face in the neighborhood of both the longitudinal ends of each staple 2a is provided with bonding pats 31 coated with adhesive. Furthermore, the predetermined positions from both ends of a side, to which each staple 2a is connected, are provided with elliptic feed holes 32. The portion between the two feed holes 32 is thoroughly cut off from each staple 2a as a slit part 33. Outside the two feed holes 32, each staple 2a is connected as a staple connecting part 34 to the range between both ends of a side, along which each staple 2a is connected.
