Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for a gas plug in the form of connecting a gas plug body 10 at its upstream end 11 to a pipe connection portion 2 embedded at a preset depth in an opening formed in a wall 5 or a floor via a circular seal member 15 in an outer-periphery gas sealing condition, the circular seal member 15 being prevented from carelessly fall down before completing the connection of the gas plug body 10 to the pipe connection portion 2.
SOLUTION: A lock groove 13 is formed in the outer peripheral face of a trunk portion near the upstream end 11 of the gas plug body 10 along the peripheral direction. The circular seal member 15 is fitted into the lock groove 13 in an outward protruded condition. A thrust member 16 is provided for thrusting the circular seal member 15 to the side of the lock groove 13. When the gas plug body 10 is put at its upper end 11 into the pipe connection portion 2 in the state of the circular seal member 15 and the thrust member 16 being mounted thereon, the outward protruded portion of the circular seal member 15 abuts on the connection end face of the pipe connection portion 2.
