Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long life connection terminal in which the amount of heat generation on the contact surface is reduced by reducing contact resistance and current-carrying capacity is increased.SOLUTION: A connection terminal includes a male contact 1 and a female contact 2 which have, respectively, first surfaces 3, 5 including flat surfaces in at least a part thereof, second surfaces 4, 6 opposite to the first surfaces 3, 5 and contact surfaces 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b continuous to the first surfaces 3, 5 and the second surfaces 4, 6. Then, when the male contact 1 and the female contact 2 are electrically connected to each other, the contact surfaces 31a, 31b come into plane contact with each other and the contact surfaces 32a, 32b come into plane contact with each other, and the contact surfaces 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b are inclined relative to vertical planes 41, 42 orthogonal to the flat surfaces.
