Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a board, reduced in size and weight by removing one of the side walls of its housing, and enhanced in link strength and lock strength on a male connector.
SOLUTION: This connector has a bottomed, box-shaped housing 1 and terminals 2 attached in the housing, and is mounted on a wiring board 10 provided between a case 13 of a meter and a fixed plate 3. One of the side walls of the housing 1 is removed to form a side opening part 4, a link groove 6 is formed in an end face of the side opening part 4 while a link projection part 7 is formed on the fixed plate 3, and the link groove 6 is linked to the link projection part 7.
