To provide a connector for floor iron plate with a simple structure, at a low cost and capable of bringing adjoining iron plates into contact with each other and connecting them with a single member easily, so as to secure passage of vehicles and safety of walking and to prevent mud and dirt.
In a connector for floor iron plate, ends of contact parts in linearly adjoining floor iron plates are fitted to the connector in a direction orthogonal to the adjacent direction so that the adjoining floor iron plates are connected with each other. In the connector, a metal skeleton in U-shaped cross section is covered with a rubber coating, and an upper part, a lower part and a side part for connecting the upper and lower parts are formed while a space in which the ends of the floor iron plates are inserted is formed between the upper and lower parts, and the height of the space is equivalent to or less than the thickness of the floor iron plate.
