Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal having an excellent quality, to provide a metal material configuring the connector terminal, and to provide a method for inspecting the quality of the metal material with ease.SOLUTION: In a connector terminal 1 having a contact part 2 directly contacted with a partner terminal, the contact part 2 has a Cu-Sn alloy layer provided on a base material having conductivity; and an Sn layer provided so as to cover a part of the Cu-Sn alloy layer. On a surface 21 of the contact part 2, a Cu-Sn alloy part 22 where the Cu-Sn alloy layer is exposed and an Sn part 23 where the Sn layer is exposed coexist. A gloss degree of the Cu-Sn alloy layer obtained by measurement in a state in which only the Sn layer is melted and removed, is 10-80%.
