To surely prevent the main body of a connector connecting a hose with a pipe having a radially outwardly projecting part on its outer peripheral surface from being deteriorated by a transferred fluid by enhancing the rigidity and strength of the connector main body at low cost while making it easier to connect and remove the pipe to and from the connector.
A connector C includes a connector main body 10 made of a resin, which has a connection 2 and a storage part 3 both constructed of a metallic rigid inner cylinder 1, and which has an extension 11 extending from the end of the storage part 2 of the rigid inner cylinder 1 while surrounding the outer periphery of the storage part 2, and a clip 15 made of an elastic body having locking claws 17, 17 which project radially inward from the inner peripheral surface of the extension 11 via through holes 12, 12 passing through the inner and outer peripheral faces of the extension 11. In this case, the claws 17 of the clip 15 are moved back and forth with respect to the inside of the extension to enable insertion, locking, and removal of a pipe 26.
