A plug insertion opening, receiving a modular plug, having almost the same thickness with a connector body, is formed to the casing of electronic equipment. An opening 2, having a size matching with a plug to be inserted into the connector, is formed at the front end of the connector body 1. A side wall surface 3, adjacent to the opening 2 of the connector body, is formed into a shape which is the same with the plug insertion opening formed to the casing of the electronic equipment, and a notch 31 is formed to the side wall surface. A rotation axis 5 protruding upward is formed to the upper side surface 4 of the connector body.
