To provide an inexpensive constant velocity universal joint with a torque transmission wheel superior in durability, by preventing generation of an abnormal sound and vibration by a transmission shock when inputting torque.
A plurality of axially extending interferential projection strips 8 are arranged in an outer peripheral equally divided position of a joint outer ring 2, and an interferential fitting groove 11 fitted by a clearance δ in the rotational direction with the interferential projection strips 8, is formed on the inner periphery of a sprocket 10 fitted to the outside of the joint outer ring 2. Recessed part 9 and 12 are formed on an outer diameter surface of the interferential projection strips 8 and the inner periphery of an interferential fitting groove 11, and generation of the abnormal sound and the vibration is prevented by absorbing the transmission shock when inputting the torque by a vibration control material 20 incorporated into its recessed parts 9 and 12. A relative rotation quantity of the joint outer ring 2 and the sprocket 10 is also regulated by interference between the interferential projection strips 8 and the interferential fitting groove 11, and reduction in the durability of the vibration control material 20 is restrained by preventing the vibration control material 20 from being elastically deformed more than necessary.
