To provide a constant velocity universal joint capable of maintaining the lubrication of the inside of an outer ring at low cost, limiting the consumption of a lubricant to the minimum required.
The porous solid lubricant 11 is filled only in the outer ring 1. An elastic sheet 12 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of an opening end 1b of the outer ring 1 to block the opening 13 of the outer ring 1. The porous solid lubricant 11 has a lubricant component and a resin component containing the lubricant used as indispensable components, and are a solid mass which is made porous by being foamed for the resin component. The lubricant component is absorbed in the resin. The resin component is foamed in the presence of the lubricant component. The sheet 12 is made of the resin. The mesh size is such a size that does not filter the lubricant component contained by the porous solid lubricant 11, that is, 50 to 1,000 mesh.
