Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constructing method which enables a continuous cutoff wall to be constructed in a free planar configuration and enables the construction work to be carried out easily without site restrictions.
SOLUTION: In a method for constructing a continuous cutoff wall, the operations of boring holes 19 in the ground 18 and inserting piles 1 therein are repeated to install the piles 1 in the ground 18 at predetermined intervals. Then an underground propulsion blade 8 is placed in the ground 17 between the adjacent piles 1, and the ends of wire ropes 2 passed through the piles 1 are bound to the underground propulsion blade 8. The other ends of the wire ropes 2 are wound by means of winding devices 7, and the underground propulsion blade 8, together with the wire ropes 2, is propelled into the ground 18 as it cuts the ground, and a space formed between the piles 1 is filled with a hardener. Once the underground propulsion blade 8 has reached the depth of the lower end of the pile 1, it is drawn out of the ground 18, and the packed hardener is hardened. Before the hardener hardens, similar operations are repeated between the adjacent piles 1, and all the hardener is hardened thereafter to construct the continuous cutoff wall.
