Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a stand-off controller of a plasma machine which maintains the stand-off suitably even at the time of changing the machining velocity.
CONSTITUTION: In a stand-off controller of a plasma machine which controls the stand-off between a plasma torch 1 and a material to be machined, a measuring means to measure the arc voltage V between the plasma torch 1 and the material to be machined and a controlling means to control stand-off ha to definitely keep the arc voltage based on the standard of the arc voltage V measured with the measuring means when moving the plasma torch 1 in a definite velocity are provided.
