To provide a construction machine capable of preventing a weld part between a column and a leg portion of a canopy from having high stress.
Right and left leg portions 24 and 25 which fix right and left columns 26 and 27 are formed of half cylindrical bodies 24B and 25B each having a semi-circular inner surface. Weld parts 30 are vertically arranged from top to bottom, between the respective edge parts 24B2 and 24B3 adjacent to the opening of the half cylindrical body 24B and the outer peripheral surface of the left column 26, and between the respective edge parts 25B2 and 25B3 adjacent to the opening of the half cylindrical body 25B and the outer peripheral surface of the right column 27, such that the both parts are fixed to each other. A uniform thickness of the weld part 30 is thereby achieved from top to bottom, preventing the weld part 30 from having high stress.
