CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF CUT-OFF WALL IN SOFT SUBSOIL

PURPOSE: To prevent the peripheral subsoil from induction of the settlement and sinking by replacing cut-off wall constructing steel materials with a cut-off wall capable of easily executing with high safety at a low cost in the case the cut-off wall constructing steel materials are drawn out.
CONSTITUTION: Several sheets of cut-off wall constructing steel materials 1 are continuously driven along the circumference of an improved area. While pulling out the cut-off wall constructing steel materials 1 driven at the begining, filler 4 as fiber dispersing liquid dispersing water swelling fibers into water is injected and filled into spaces in the lower ends of the cut-off wall constructing steel materials 1 through a pipe 5. The cut-off wall constructing steel materials 1 to be drawn out is used and driven for the next to the cut-off wall constructing steel materials 1 driven at the last. The execution is made by repeating the process mentioned above to construct a cut-off wall 8. According to the constitution, banking 3 is executed on the ground surface of the subsoil E1 of the improved area in which paper drain materials 2 are driven in a state to separate the subsoil E1 of the improved area from the peripheral subsoil E by the cut-off wall 8 formed of the swelled and gelled filler 4.
