Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform construction in accordance with enlargement of an LNG tank while substantially shortening a construction period, without decreasing safety while reducing cost.SOLUTION: A gas storage tank comprises: a dike 10 which is formed of PC (prestressed concrete) obtained by adding beforehand a compressive force to PC steel in an approximately vertical direction and in a circumferential direction; an outer tank 103 which is formed by arranging outer tank side part liner plates so as to almost cover the inside of the dike 10; an inner tank 104 which is formed by laminating a plurality of steps, each of which is formed by circumferentially connecting a plurality of inner tank side slabs 104a made of steel containing 7% nickel, so that vertical connection lines do not overlap with each other and by welding connecting parts in a vertical joint and a circumferential joint; a heat insulating layer 105 which is formed by filling perlite and/or a PUF (polyurethane foam) between the inner tank 104 and the outer tank 103; and a bottom liner layer which is formed by arranging bottom liner plates and bottom liner annular plates so as to fill a tank bottom surface defined by the inner tank 104 and/or the outer tank 103.
