Abstract:
To provide a wiring wear detection method which can measure a residual diameter corresponding value on the basis of an extracted uneven wear spot by automatically extracting the uneven wear spot from an image obtained by imaging a trolley wire with a line sensor camera.SOLUTION: A wiring wear detection method installs a line sensor camera 1 for imaging a lower surface of a trolley wire 4 contacting a pantograph 5 on a train roof, performs image processing on the image of the lower surface of the trolley wire 4 including an uneven wear spot having a horizontal wear portion and an inclined wear portion imaged by the line sensor camera 1 and obtains the residual diameter of the trolley wire 4. The method comprises a boundary point detection step of obtaining positions on the image of one end of the trolley wire 4, an end of the horizontal wear portion, a boundary point between the horizontal wear portion and the inclined wear portion, an end of the inclined wear portion and the other end of the trolley wire 4 from the image of the lower surface of the trolley wire 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
