Abstract:
To provide base paper for a container, which can make openability of a spout proper and which maintaining strength, and a paper container using the same.SOLUTION: Base paper 1 for a container comprises: an inner layer 4 that is composed predominantly of paper; an outer layer 7 that is overlaid on the front side of the inner layer 4 and that is composed predominantly of paper; and a surface layer 8 that is composed predominantly of a thermoplastic resin and that coats the front side of the outer layer 7. The mass ratio of a softwood pulp material to a pulp material constituting the outer layer 7 is equal to or lower than the mass ratio of a softwood pulp material to a pulp material constituting the inner layer 4, and disaggregation freeness of the outer layer 7 is in the range of 400-550 mlcsf.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
