To provide a container inner member that can be used in a versatile container having no specific shape for fixing the inner member and can reduce cost more than the prior art container inner member and to provide a container with an inner member in which the container inner member is installed therein.

An inner member 20 has a base plate 22 installed at the bottom surface of a container 10 and has a plurality of box constituting members 40 assembled therein. Each of the box constituting members 40 is provided with cargo storing grooves 49 having an open side and an upper open side. Then, in the case that the open sides of adjoining box constituting members 40, 40 are directed in the same direction, a cavity 50A corresponding to one of the cargo storing grooves 49 is formed, and in turn, in the case that the open sides of the adjoining box constituting members 40 face each other, the cargo storing grooves 49, 49 communicate with each other to form a cavity 50B corresponding to two cargo storing grooves 49.
