To provide a filling nozzle capable of reinforcing a function for restricting a phenomenon of liquid dripping even if its structure is simple and further capable of preventing a trouble of biting of stored content at a lateral seal part.

A suction mechanism for use in restricting a phenomenon of liquid dripping occurring at the extremity end of a filling nozzle is arranged at the filling nozzle of an automatic packaging machine, wherein this suction mechanism is constituted by a suction nozzle connected with a vertical pipe portion of the filling nozzle and a suction pump for sucking out a liquid content kept in the filling nozzle through the suction nozzle. This suction nozzle has an arcular pipe connected to the vertical pipe portion of the filling nozzle from its upper part to its lower part in a slant manner. As a result, a suction force may strongly act against the liquid content stayed at the lower end of the vertical pipe to enable the function for restricting the phenomenon of liquid dripping to be reinforced.
