Abstract:

To provide a container formed by forming a foam laminated sheet having excellent heat insulating properties which is can firmly stop a lid body while preventing injury caused by an end edge, and a method for manufacturing the container can easily manufacture the container.

A foam laminated sheet with a thermoplastic resin film layered on one side of a thermoplastic resin foam sheet is used. The foam laminated sheet is formed so that the thermoplastic resin film forms an inner surface side. The container includes a container body in which a storing recessed part for storing an object to be stored, and a projecting part expanded outwardly from an opening edge of the storing recessed part are formed. At least an end edge of the projecting part of the container includes an uneven shape on its upper surface side, and its lower surface side is formed flat.
