Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container terminal and an employment method of it, capable of reducing standby time generated during delivery of a container while maintaining safety, improving cargo handling efficiency, and reducing a number of cargo handling appliances such as a crane for delivering a container.SOLUTION: A temporary placement stand table 30, on which a container C is temporarily placed, is provided on a cargo loading and cargo unloading transfer area 8 adjacent to a yard lane 2, and a lift CART 20 is configured to get under the temporary placement stand table 30 for delivering the container C to the temporary placement stand table 30, and an SC7 is configured to step over the temporary placement stand table 30 for delivering the container C to the temporary placement stand table 30.
