To easily dissolve miso (soybean paste) while being squeezed from an opening and also to prevent miso from remaining on the opening by forming a hole at the opening of a container in a rectangular cross section to squeeze miso inside in a thin-plate-like form and by forming, on a cap, a thin-plate-like fitting part to be fitted to the hole with the rectangular cross section of the container.

An opening 3 is formed by reducing in diameter an upper part of a tubelike container 2, and a mouth 3A having a rectangular cross section is formed of longer sides 3a and shorter sides 3b via a flange 4 reinforcing the opening 3. A thin-plate-like fitting part 6 to be fitted into the mouth 3A having the rectangular cross section of the opening 3 is formed on a bottom 5a of a cap 5. Therefore, when miso is squeezed out of the mouth 3A of the opening 3, it can be squeezed in a thin-plate-like form which can be easily dissolved. If the cap 5 is attached to the mouth 3A, the thin-plate-like fitting part 6 is fitted into the mouth 3A having the rectangular cross section, whereby miso attaching to the opening 3 can be pushed back into the tubelike container 2 and remaining miso can be eliminated.
