PURPOSE: To facilitate handling in the use of a viscous liquid stored in a container.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical container 1 which is open at the top is provided with a projection 7, on its internal wall 3 and in a position higher than its bottom. A high viscous liquid is put into the cylindlical container 1, and a proper amount of the liquid is used by inclining the container 1 with the projection 7 facing downward to cause the liquid to flow out. When the cylindrical container 1 is put back in an upright position, the liquid falls along the internal wall 3 of the mouth, shoulder and body of the cylindrical container 1, and in the position of the projection 7 it flows down fast because adhesive force is distributed. Therefore, because the level of the liquid can be quickly checked and a required amount of the liquid is readily measured, this improves job efficientcy and reduces working hours.
