To achieve a scalable content distribution system foundation which can divide the generation and execution of items necessary for each service carrier into groups having a common property, simply realizing the collective handling of the generation and execution, in a system for distributing content by using servers of two or more platform elements.
A content distribution system 2 is constituted such that an application (AP) server 21 of the system is divided into an AP scenario part 30 and an AP common function part 31, and further the AP common function part 31 is divided into a service system layer 310 and a function system layer 311. A command capsule execution engine is provided which operates under the service system layer 310 and the function system layer 311. In addition, the command capsule execution engine performs data operation based on a schema prepared for each carrier, and by combining patterns, data item operation can be executed freely.
