To provide a content distribution method, a system and a program which retrieve semantic information contents matched to tastes of a user by using semantic information indicating the taste of the user as a keyword and distribute the semantic information to the user and other users with the same taste in real time if necessary.

The semantic information indicating the tastes of the user and a user ID from an information terminal 1 are received by a semantic information switch 4 via a semantic information network 3, and transmitted to a content agent, an information storage means is retrieved by using the semantic information of the user as the keyword by the content agent, a semantic information content address matching the semantic information of the user is acquired and transmitted to a content server 6 with the user ID, and the semantic information contents applicable to the semantic information content address are acquired and distributed to the information terminal of the user ID.
