To provide a content distribution system which distributes live content while allowing a content provider to flexibly set a distribution time and viewing price of the live content.SOLUTION: A content distribution system includes a content distribution management apparatus 10 and a content distribution apparatus 20, and the system is connected to a terminal used by a viewer of live content over a communication network, such as the Internet or a mobile telephone network. A basic distribution limit setting unit 11 of the content distribution management apparatus 10 sets an available time for which the live content can be distributed and a viewing price corresponding thereto, as basic distribution limit information, in accordance with designation operation of a content provider. A distribution time setting unit 12 sets a distribution time of the live content within the limit of the available time.
