Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution technique which uses IP multicast communication when distributing a video in conformity of HTTP, and further reduces a reproduction loss to the possible extent.SOLUTION: A file packetizing device 300 divides a play list file and a video segment file of a video distribution service into UDP packets, to distribute in IP multicast. A file reconfiguration device 400 receives the UDP packets distributed in the IP multicast from the file packetizing device 300, to reconfigure the play list file and the video segment file. When there is a loss of UDP packet, the file reconfiguration device 400 inserts, in the corresponding part, a null packet of a TS packet. A terminal device 600 acquires the play list file and the video segment file from the file reconfiguration device 400 on the basis of HTTP to be reproduced in the video.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
