Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous flow-down apparatus for preparing an artificial zeolite which efficiently prepares the artificial zeolite showing a higher quality, realizes drastic simplification of a facility despite of being a continuous apparatus, enables easy operation, maintenance and inspection, further reduces an operation cost and well controls a delay of particles caused by particle size variation.
SOLUTION: The apparatus has, as a main part, a reactor having a flow-down passage apparatus made of several U-shaped vertical passage units which are serially connected to form vertically meandering long passages. In each U-shaped vertical passage unit, a slurry is introduced from the top of a vertical passage and discharged from the top of the other vertical passage. The slurry before and after reaction is subjected to heat exchange in a counter-flow heat-exchanger and quenched.
