To provide a continuous production line which can continuously produce a mechanical component such as a rolling bearing, does not upsize a facility and does not increase an installation area, and to provide an induction heating device which can heat an annular piece each having a different diameter with a common heating coil.
This production line has an inspection section 11, a forging section 12, a turning section 13, a punching section 14, a heat treatment section 15, a grinding section 16 and an assembly section 17 sequentially arranged therein. The heat treatment section 15 includes: a preheating section 15a for heating an annular piece W1 to a predetermined preheating temperature which is close to a quenching temperature by induction heating; a soaking section 15b for heating the annular piece W1 to the quenching temperature in a continuous heating furnace 21; a quenching section 15c; and a tempering section 15d. The preheating section 15a has a rotating carriage 51 for rotating the annular piece W1, a U-shaped heating coil 52 for induction heating the annular piece W1, and a heating coil base 54 for installing the heating coil 52 thereon so that the heating coil 52 can change the position in a radial direction of the rotating carriage 51.
