To continuously produce a poly(meth)acrylate having controlled molecular weight and its distribution and high stereoregularity by mixing a (meth) acrylate monomer with a specific organic metal compound and polymerizing while transferring the resultant mixed solution into a polymerization region.
A mixed solution is prepared by supplying a (meth)acrylate monomer and an organic metal compound such as an organic rare earth metal compound having at least one polymerization initiating point into a mixing region and mixing them. The mixing solution is transferred from the mixing region to an inlet of a polymerization region, and the mixed solution is transferred from the inlet to an exit of the polymerization region while progressing its polymerization reaction and the polymerization reaction is stopped by transferring from the exist to a polymerization stopping region, then the objective poly(meth)acrylate is continuously obtained.
