To provide a spinning method capable of reducing its production cost since the drying process before the spinning process is not necessary, and having a good efficiency.
This continuous spinning method of a polyester in feeding high molecular weight polyester pellets obtained continuously from a solid state polycondensation reaction directly to a spinning process by conveying them with pressure using a gas as a conveying medium comprises maintaining the temperature of the high molecular weight polyester pellets conveyed with the pressure at or higher than the glass transition point of the high molecular weight polyester and at or lower than a temperature which is lower than the melting point of the polyester by 80°C, and continuously conveying the pellets to the spinning process for continuously spinning the polyester fiber without passing through a drying process.
