Title:
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014134217
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission suppressing a collision between a chain belt and cone surface by suppressing vibrations of the chain belt, and improving quietness.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission includes: a primary pulley; a secondary pulley; and a chain belt 13. The primary pulley and the secondary pulley have cone surfaces 11c opposing to each other, formed with a groove across which the chain belt is stretched by the cone surfaces, and configured by a pair of sheaves 11a and 11b having a variable opposite interval. Each cone surface of the pair of the sheaves has an inclined portion 11e having a diametrical inner opposite interval of the sheave narrower than a diametrical outer opposite interval. Concerning at least either one of the primary pulley or a secondary pulley, the inclined portion on each cone surface of the pair of the sheaves has a part having different inclination from each other.
