An ECU executes a program including a step (S110) of setting a target deceleration of an operation vehicle based on amount of operation of a brake pedal, a step (S120) of distributing the target deceleration to a first deceleration caused by damping force of the brake apparatus and a second deceleration caused by damping force of a power train, a step (S130) of controlling the brake apparatus so as to realize the first deceleration, the step (S140) of setting a transmission gear ratio of a belt type continuous variable transmission based on the second deceleration, and the step (S150) of controlling the belt type continuous variable transmission so as to be the set transmission gear ratio.
