PURPOSE: To prevent temporary lowering of hydraulic pressure at the time of changeover by providing a first oil passage which supplies forward range hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic servo for engaging a clutch, by means of a manual valve, a second oil passage which supplies it by means of a governing valve, a third oil passage which passes a changeover valve, and a fourth oil passage which feeds governing oil bypassing the changeover valve.
CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic pressure source 54 is output to oil passages L-21, L4, enters a manual valve 55 for generating a forward (D range) pressure or the like. A C-1 control valve 67 to which the D range pressure is supplied from oil passages L-3, L-14 is operated for generating governing hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic servo C-1 of a first clutch, and supplies it to a second oil passage L-15. This hydraulic pressure is supplied to the hydraulic servo C-1 from a third oil passage L-17 through a neutral relay valve 64. Supply of the hydraulic pressure is temporarily stopped when the neutral relay valve 64 is changed over. However, the hydraulic pressure is fed from a fourth oil passage L-26 through a shift valve 57, and an oil passage L-27 bypassing the neutral relay valve 64 so as to prevent lowering of the hydraulic pressure.
